Domain Architect - AI Network, NVIDIA & InfiniBand - 12M CONTRACT - PERM

We have a (12-Month Contract - Permanent) Domain Architect – AI Network roles available.

You will design, deploy and optimise high-performance networking fabrics for next-generation AI infrastructure.

This role focuses on NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, InfiniBand, Spectrum-X Ethernet and high-speed data centre networking, supporting NVIDIA SuperPOD, BasePOD and Cisco AI Factory deployments.

Working across complex AI infrastructure projects, you will bridge network architecture and hands-on implementation, while providing technical consulting and pre-sales support to enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy high-performance InfiniBand and Ethernet fabrics for large-scale NVIDIA GPU clusters.
• Architect leaf-spine and Clos network topologies to support high-bandwidth, low-latency GPU-to-GPU communication.
• Configure and optimise NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand and Spectrum-X Ethernet switching platforms.
• Implement RDMA, RoCEv2, adaptive routing, congestion control and lossless networking.
• Support GPU cluster integration, NCCL communication patterns and high-performance compute networking.
• Work with NVIDIA UFM, Cumulus Linux/SONiC and network telemetry tools to monitor and troubleshoot fabric performance.
• Oversee high-speed physical connectivity, including 400G/800G optics, DAC/AOC cabling and OSFP/QSFP transceivers.
• Automate network provisioning and configuration using Python, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code.
• Lead technical workshops, solution design, network BoM validation, labour estimates and pre-sales engagements.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated Network Architecture & Design Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with NVIDIA/Mellanox networking and InfiniBand fabrics.
• Experience deploying and managing NVIDIA Quantum switches and/or Spectrum-X Ethernet platforms.
• Strong understanding of GPU cluster networking, high-performance computing and AI infrastructure.
• Experience in high-speed data centre networking ideally in Hyperscale Data Centre
• Experience in HPC Environments
• Practical knowledge of RDMA, RoCEv2, PFC, ECN, adaptive routing and congestion management.
• Experience with NVIDIA UFM, MLNX-OS, Cumulus Linux or SONiC.
• Understanding of high-speed data centre interconnects, optical transceivers, cabling and signal integrity.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation and customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience in Presales, SI, MSP or Vendor will be preferred

Desirable Experience

• NVIDIA SuperPOD, BasePOD or Cisco AI Factory deployments.
• NVIDIA BlueField DPUs, SHARP and GPU Direct RDMA.
• Arista EOS, Cisco Nexus, BGP, EVPN and VXLAN.
• Prometheus, Grafana and network fabric telemetry.
• Experience developing technical solutions, statements of work and implementation estimates.
• NVIDIA AI Networking or Cisco CCNP/CCIE Data Center certifications.
