Domain Architect

Summary

Designs and leads the implementation of telecom network solutions, focusing on IMS core systems and cloud/virtualization deployments while managing stakeholder engagements and bid preparations.

In this role, you will manage a team for one of Solution Areas and bring thought leadership in customer engagement. You will also manage Nokia's Internal Stake holder engagements with solution capabilities from multiple sources and technologies, build understanding and preference for Nokia products and solutions by influencing regional team decisions and strategic directions.

  • Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for overall technical solution.
  • Own technical part of bid preparation: solution design/architecture, effort estimates, scope of work, bill of material, etc. and holding key role in contract negotiations to protect SI value.
  • Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase.
  • Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase
  • Liaise with SI Engagement Architect and other members of the regional team as well as with Product Managers, Project manager and 3rd party product manager to align customer requirements with available generic solutions, Nokia products and 3rd party products

  • 10+ years of experience relevant experience
  • Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE Networks and Call flows
  • Solution design & Implementation of IMS Core Network Elements including CFX, TAS, SBC, NN etc.
  • IMS Solution Integration, experience of installing IMS Node and related Software on commissioned hardware
  • Experience in Cloud + Virtualization and VNF Deployments with good experience in Unix/Linux commands
  • Good experience in Router and Switch configuration, and good understanding of IMS Call Flows
  • Basic knowledge of HP product details, basic Knowledge of firmware.
  • Basic scripting language expertise (Shell script, PERL, Python, Ansible) would be added advantage.
