DOMESTIC ABUSE VICTIM ADVOCATE

The primary purpose of this position is to: To serve as a Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) providing professional advocacy and support services aligned under the Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
Serves as Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate providing direct support to victims of domestic abuse, child abuse and those impacted by PSB-CY. Responsible for case management activities occurring from initial referral, follow-up through case closure, or transfer. Provides advisory services and annual training to senior leaders, health care professionals, installation personnel, and key community agencies. Represents the domestic abuse victim advocacy installation program to both military and civilian agencies.
