DOT Driver

General Purpose of Position: Operate a tractor trailer combination Commercial Motor Vehicle to haul company equipment to client field / yard locations or returning equipment the Stingray Rentals yard.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Safely operate trucks to haul loads of equipment to various locations and well sites.
2. Safely operate trucks and trailers, including load security of various types of equipment.
3. Safely operate load handling equipment to load and unload equipment being hauled.
4. Assure paperwork such as load tickets, and records of loads hauled/transferred are completed accurately in KPA.
5. Assure that trucks are maintained and in good working condition.
6. Complete pre and post trip inspections and required for specific job(s) as well as fit for duty tests prior to driving.
7. Must complete vehicle inspection and Driver’s Daily Log per DOT regulations.
8. Must be able to operate an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
9. Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, management, and vendors.

Additional Job Duties:

1. Assist other company drivers when necessary.
2. Must attend all required safety and training meetings.
3. Maintain and foster professional relationships with all customers, staff, and vendors.
4. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
