Job Description Mid-Level Software Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Software Developer with hands-on experience in C#/.NET, AWS services, and relational databases. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing business applications, troubleshooting production issues, developing new features, and supporting cloud-based integrations.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with existing codebases, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C# and .NET.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and integration issues.
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions and cloud-based services.
• Work with AWS S3, S3 Events, and SNS notifications.
• Manage database interactions and queries using Oracle RDS and SQL.
• Implement bug fixes, enhancements, and application improvements.
• Analyze application logs and identify root causes of technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with team members throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Follow secure coding practices and application development best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET development.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and service integrations.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of debugging, troubleshooting, and application maintenance.
• Familiarity with Git, source control, and code review practices.
• Understanding of unit testing and software development methodologies.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon SNS.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RDS or Oracle Database.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and cloud integrations.
• Experience with application logging and monitoring.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience working with shared libraries and large existing codebases.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience & Qualification

• 3+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience supporting and enhancing enterprise applications.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with senior developers.
