Dotnet Developer
Broad Function:
We are seeking a .NET Developer with minimum 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies. The candidate should have strong expertise in .NET Framework/.NET Core, API development, database programming, and application support.
The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technology solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Application Development- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- API & Application Development -Develop and maintain REST APIs, Web Applications, Windows Services, and Console Applications.
- Requirement Analysis & Solution Design -Analyse business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
- Code Quality & Best Practices - Develop reusable, scalable components and follow coding standards and secure development practices.
- Testing & Debugging - Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and resolve application issues.
- Database Development- Work with SQL Server for database design, stored procedures, queries, and performance optimization.
- Application Support & Maintenance- Handle application enhancements, bug fixes, production support, and performance improvements.
- Deployment & Release Management -Participate in deployments, release activities, and environment support.
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and REST API development.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server, database programming, queries, and optimization.
- Experience with Entity Framework / ADO.NET for data access.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web application development.
- Experience working with Git/SVN version control systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Requirements
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and commitment towards deliverables.
- Good to have working exp on applications in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Enterprise domains.
- Exposure to application migration, modernization, and support projects.
- Understanding of cloud-native application development and scalable application architectures.
