Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging computer science/Design and Technology lessons that foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Guide students through the design process, from ideation and prototyping to testing and evaluation.
- Develop practical skills using a range of tools, materials, and digital technologies.
- Create a safe, well-organized learning environment that encourages experimentation and innovation.
- Assess student progress through project-based learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to STEM, innovation, and extracurricular initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design and Technology, Industrial Design, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (preferable)
- Experience teaching MYP Design and Technology at the relevant school level is preferred.
- Experience teaching DP Computer Science.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for innovation, creativity, and student achievement.
