DP Engineer (Dynamic Positioning)
Summary
Engineer responsible for reviewing AutoCAD drawings, preparing DP trial/FMEA reports, and conducting onboard sea trials for Dynamic Positioning systems.
Responsible for reviewing and preparing technical drawings, DP trial/FMEA reports, and operation manuals. The role involves conducting onboard DP sea trials, system verification, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to clients on Dynamic Positioning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare DP trial reports, FMEA reports, and DP operation manuals.
- Conduct onboard DP sea trials and on-site system verification.
- Provide technical consultation and support to clients on DP systems.
- Coordinate with clients regarding drawings, trials, reports, and technical issues.
- Perform other technical duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI/SCADA, and electrical systems.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical design or automation; fresh graduates with strong potential may be considered.
- Good English communication and technical report-writing skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work onboard vessels.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
