Drafter (CAD)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop piping layout designsbased on project/tender requirements and engineering standards.
  • Generate and convertengineering drawings from 3D models.
  • Prepare and compile drawingsfor authority/client submission.
  • Produce and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawingsfor Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems within WWTP projects.
  • Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailedfabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Develop layouts for process equipment, piping, cable routing, electrical panels, instrumentation, and associated facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of CAD drafting experience, preferably in wastewater treatment, water treatment, process plants, or industrial facilities.
  • Able to manage tight schedules and deliver quality work under time constraints.
  • Experience in water/wastewater treatment plants or other industrial/process plant projects and familiar with PUB specification is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD/BIM software.
  • Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
