Drafter cum BIM Modeller

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Door Drafter and BIM Modeller

to produce accurate technical drawings, door schedules, ironmongery layouts, and 3D building information models. You will bridge architectural designs with shop-floor or site execution, ensuring all door assemblies, frames, fire-rating specs, and hardware match industry codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting & Documentation: Prepare, revise, and maintain 2D/3D technical drawings, door schedules, and ironmongery details.
• BIM Modelling: Build, update, and manage parametric door families and 3D models using Autodesk Revit (and AutoCAD for linkage and cleanup).
• Interpretation & Coordination: Read and interpret architectural floor plans, consultant specifications, and structural/MEP details. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and external contractors to resolve clashes or design queries.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all door and ironmongery configurations comply with local building regulations, fire safety codes, and project-specific BIM standards (e.g., Singapore/ISO workflows where applicable).
• Site & As-Built Support: Conduct site inspections or measure-ups when required to update as-built drawings and documentation.
