Drafter Engineering
Summary
Drafts and modifies 2D engineering drawings (floor plans, sections, details) using AutoCAD, manages drawing archives, and supports on-site measurements and procurement documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting & Modification: Draft, modify, and implement localized design changes for 2D technical drawings (floor plans, sections, and detail drawings) under the guidance of engineers.
- Drawing & Document Management: Handle plot/print requests, classification, archiving, and version control of engineering drawings.
- Project Administrative Support: Assist in Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, and engineering submittal compilation. Prepare Engineering BOM and material take-off to support procurement and project execution.
- On-Site Support: Accompanied by the team to assist with on-site dimensional measurements and current-state documentation
- Update drawings and engineering documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the company.
- Write detailed reports
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD 2D
- Core Knowledge: Basic blueprint reading skills (ability to understand orthographic projections, sectional views, and dimensioning standards).
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field in Mechanical, Engineering, Architecture, Civil, or related fields, OR a certification from relevant vocational training programs (Fresh graduates are highly welcome).
