Drafter
Support the Manager, design, and operations teams by preparing quotations, drafting work schedules, managing client communications, and producing 3D and construction detail drawings to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency.
- Develop space planning layouts and furniture arrangements to optimize functional and aesthetic use of space
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, and design presentations to communicate design concepts effectively
- Ensure designs comply with HDB, BCA, and project-specific regulations and standards
- Coordinate drawing revisions throughout project phases to maintain up-to-date documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and suppliers to ensure design and construction alignment
- Conduct site measurements and inspections to verify dimensions and resolve technical issues during construction
- Assist Manager, design, and operations teams with project coordination and operational tasks to support timely delivery
- Prepare accurate quotations and draft detailed work schedules to facilitate project planning
- Attend site meetings and briefings to consolidate outstanding works and update summary reports for project tracking
- Coordinate architectural, structural, M&E, and interior fit-out drawings to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
- Manage client communications via email to maintain clear and professional correspondence
- Produce 2D, 3D models and construction detail drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, rendering software, and Photoshop to support design and construction needs
- Execute other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Manager to support team objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or higher in a relevant or related field, or more than 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Proficient technical skills in detail drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, rendering software, and Photoshop
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
- Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment
