McPherson Concrete Companies is seeking a SolidWorks and AutoCAD Draftsman for our Wichita location with 1–2 years of experience in the building trades. This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute to innovative precast/prestressed concrete projects and grow within a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D CAD models of concrete components.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver accurate, efficient designs that meet deadlines.
- Order long-lead materials and miscellaneous hardware tied to production and delivery.
- Review engineering drawings for specification compliance and quality.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical design challenges.
- Help develop and improve drafting standards and best practices
