Drafter

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop drawings based on project requirements, design specifications, and relevant authority requirements.
  • Prepare, amend, and update renovation, construction, and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Visit renovation and construction sites to conduct site measurements, gather necessary information, and verify existing site conditions.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, interior designers, builders, and subcontractors to obtain and clarify project information.
  • Review drawings and engineering information to ensure compliance with approved designs, project requirements, and site conditions.
  • Prepare and revise shop drawings, construction drawings, and coordination drawings as required.
  • Explain drawings and technical details to construction teams and engineers and make necessary adjustments when required.
  • Monitor site installation and renovation progress and update drawings according to actual site changes.
  • Prepare and compile As-Built Drawings for submission upon project completion.
  • Assist with the printing and distribution of drawings as requested by Project Managers.
  • Ensure all required drawings are completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a project team with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit, BIM, and other relevant drafting software will be an advantage.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Engineering Diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
  • Familiar with local submission procedures
  • Exposure to ISO / drafting standards
  • Be independent, self-motivated and deliver timely
  • Perform as a good team player
