Drafter Project Designer with Tekla

About the role

A company dedicated to the manufacture and installation of metal solutions for construction and civil engineering projects is looking to hire a Draftsperson/Designer specialized in metal structures and locksmithing.

What you'll do

• Perform site visits for measurements, setting out, and validation of technical information.
• Develop metal structure projects using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Design and model metal stairs, portals, canopies, structural reinforcements, industrial warehouses, and buildings.
• Prepare fabrication drawings for the workshop, including assembly drawings and part drawings.
• Generate material lists and technical documentation for purchasing.
• Collaborate in the comparison of offers and selection of materials.
• Prepare assembly drawings and setting out for execution on site.
• Coordinate with production, site, clients, and suppliers during all phases of the project.
• Perform technical monitoring and resolve incidents related to the execution of the works.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and optimization of construction solutions.

What we're looking for

• Technical training in Drafting, Mechanical Manufacturing, Metal Construction, Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar positions within the metal structures, locksmithing, boilermaking, or similar sector.
• Demonstrable experience working with Tekla Structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Experience performing measurements, setting out, and technical site visits.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Organized, autonomous profile oriented toward problem-solving.
• Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience collaborating with surveying teams is valued.
