DRAFTER

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter to create accurate technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to prepare drawings according to project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation based on engineering specifications.

  • Create, modify, and update drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD or other relevant drafting tools.

  • Review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to incorporate design changes and revisions.

  • Maintain proper documentation and manage drawing revisions and updates.

  • Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.

  • Ensure all drawings follow company standards and drafting procedures.

  • Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and project documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve drafting issues and provide technical support when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field preferred.

  • Relevant experience as a CAD Drafter or Drafting Technician is an advantage.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

  • Good attention to detail with strong accuracy in drafting work.

  • Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.
