DRAFTER
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter to create accurate technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to prepare drawings according to project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation based on engineering specifications.
Create, modify, and update drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD or other relevant drafting tools.
Review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to incorporate design changes and revisions.
Maintain proper documentation and manage drawing revisions and updates.
Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.
Ensure all drawings follow company standards and drafting procedures.
Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and project documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve drafting issues and provide technical support when required.
Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field preferred.
Relevant experience as a CAD Drafter or Drafting Technician is an advantage.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Good attention to detail with strong accuracy in drafting work.
Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
