Drainage Design Engineer
WSP, a world leading management and consultancy firm, is seeking Drainage Design Engineer to join their Transport Roads and Civil Team. - Undertake surface water drainage and cross drainage design for roads, rail and civil projects.
- Understanding of pavement and subsurface drainage design for roads and civil projects.
- Design and model water quality measures for roads and civil projects.
- Liaise with drafters to produce the design drawings.
- Prepare drainage design reports.
- Assist in developing less experienced engineers in a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Civil Engineer.
- Proven recent Australian experience drainage design for major transport projects is an advantage.
- Have a good understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling packages used in the design of road drainage, cross drainage and flood analysis, and ancillary drainage items such as scour protection and water quality control.
- Proficiency in 12D for drainage design and analysis, is highly desirable, and experience in packages such as HECRAS, MUSIC, TuFlow, would be advantageous.
- A desire to develop skills and use Bentley SUDA for drainage design and analysis
- High attention to details, excellent client-focus and ability to deliver quality output within the timeline.
