Draughtsman – Instrumentation Design

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with experience in instrumentation design, particularly in preparing instrument loop diagrams for both pneumatic and electrical instruments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instrumentation systems and the ability to produce precise technical drawings in line with project requirements and international standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed instrumentation drawings including instrument loop diagrams for pneumatic and electrical instruments.
  • Create and revise P&IDs, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, and termination diagrams.
  • Coordinate with instrumentation engineers to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, standards, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process) to resolve design issues.





Requirements


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Draftsman in instrumentation design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation loop diagrams (pneumatic and electrical).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
