Job Title: Class A Driver / Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A Driver /Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a hybrid role that combines commercial driving responsibilities with warehouse operations. The successful candidate will perform local and regional deliveries using Class A vehicles and support warehouse activities, including forklift operation, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and general warehouse duties when driving assignments are not scheduled. This is not a dedicated driving-only position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Transportation & Delivery

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport products to customer and company locations.
• Load, unload, secure, and inspect freight before and after transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required logs and records.
• Ensure on-time deliveries while complying with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and vendors.

Warehouse Operations

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory control activities.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Support other warehouse and operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Must be eligible and willing to operate Class C vehicles as business needs require.
• Current forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, and inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor environments, including varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and commercial vehicles.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Driving assignments will vary based on operational needs.
• During periods when deliveries are not required, the employee will perform warehouse and logistics functions.

Note: This position requires flexibility to transition between driving and warehouse responsibilities to support overall business operations. This is a dual-role position and should not be considered a dedicated driver-only role.
