The Miami Job Corps Center is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and student-centered Driver to join our team. This position plays an important role in providing safe and reliable transportation for students while helping maintain a secure, positive, and supportive Center environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Driver, you will:

• Provide safe and reliable transportation services for students as required.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and promptly report safety concerns or maintenance needs.
• Maintain required vehicle records and documentation in accordance with DOL and Company requirements.
• Schedule and deliver vehicles for preventive maintenance and necessary repairs.
• Assist the Safety & Security Department in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, security tours, and assessments of Center facilities and equipment.
• Assist with accident and incident investigations, documentation, and required reports.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and requests.
• Assist with visitor control, student accountability, and supervision.
• Support residential, recreation, transportation, and other Center operations as needed.
• Maintain the security and cleanliness of Center facilities, property, and assigned vehicles.
• Work collaboratively with staff across departments to ensure students receive effective supervision and quality services.
• Serve as a positive role model by mentoring students and reinforcing Career Success Standards.
• Treat students with respect and courtesy while maintaining appropriate expectations for accountability and behavior.
