Job Summary:
The Driver and Facilities Support role combines transportation and maintenance duties, requiring a valid driver's license and handyman skills. This role is responsible for driving company vehicles, performing basic repairs, and maintaining facilities in good working order. In addition, this role will require operating industrial shredding equipment (training provided).

Driving:

Safely operate company vehicles for various purposes, including deliveries, pickups. The driver must be comfortable with towing trailers, hauling equipment and operating large box trucks. May require several days a week operating a delivery route that will last the whole shift.

General Maintenance:

Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including repairs to equipment, furnishings, bathrooms, light fixtures, walls, floors, and landscaping.

Repairs:

Address minor repairs like drywall damage, broken windows, or general maintenance tasks.

Special Projects:

Assist with special projects such as painting, assembly, and repairs as needed.

Property Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential issues and proactively address them.

Collaboration:

Work with other staff to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring safety compliance.

Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of completed work and report on the status of ongoing projects.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding maintenance needs and updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Basic handyman skills, including knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to obtain medical clearance/certificate per DOT requirements (paid for by NWW)

Additional Skills:

• Basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge.
• Experience with drywall repair, painting, and finishing work.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and building codes.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team as well as take initiative to solve problems when discovering items that need attention.
