Driver CDL Class B

Tri-City Group is currently looking for a Class B CDL Driver to join our team in Davenport, IA! This position is responsible for completing local routes, loading/unloading cargo, and complying with federal DOT safety regulations.

Essential Duties:

• Drive commercial vehicles to and from designated locations to transport materials and/or equipment while keeping documentation of transport details.
• Follow safe operating procedures based on vehicle/load requirements and proper tie-down procedures checked off prior to transport.
• Basic warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, basic fork truck usage.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Licensing & Age: Must possess a valid driver's license matching state requirements for the vehicle/trailer combination (e.g., Class B Illinois or equivalent) and meet the minimum age requirements for interstate travel or be willing to obtain.
  
• Current DOT medical card
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Ability to safely drive various vehicles
• Clean Driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50–80 lbs and perform frequent bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Steel-toe/composite toe boots

Physical Requirements:

• Demonstrate auditory and visual acuity/tracking/inspection
• Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent on-the-job accidents and injuries
• Ability to lift, move, push, or pull up to 75 pounds regularly
