Driver Class 5
About the role
We're looking for a Class 5 Driver to join our team in Christchurch (Bromley). In this hands-on role, you are responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of our service. You need to be customer focused and enjoy interacting with various people.
You’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.
- A clean and up-to-date New Zealand Class 5 driver’s license.
- Experience in transport, waste, industrial services, or a similar hands-on role.
- Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
- Flexibility to undertake out-of-town travel as part of the role.
- Good people skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliable, practical, and happy to pitch in where needed.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
