Summary
Operates commercial trucks for deliveries, ensuring safe transport, route efficiency, and vehicle maintenance while assisting with loading/unloading and documenting deliveries, returns, and logs.
To Operate/drive trucks to perform customer delivery and store delivery duties
Drive following all safety & traffic regulations
Provide feedback to the supervisors about the deliveries and also to let them know if anything needs to be rectified in case of particular deliveries.
Assist carpenters and helpers on loading and unloading of goods
Collect returns from shop & customer with proper documentation
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of the trucks
Maintain the Service Log book / Delivery log book for the vehicles
Ensure and Improve knowledge of routes and areas
Ensure proper documents of vehicle
Be aware of dates of service, renewal of registration and insurance
Ensure tidiness of vehicle both inside & outside
Check & take the documents required for delivery
Maintain fuel usage records, KM reading logs
Maintain log book of deliveries
At least 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role, Driver’s license is required
