Delivery Driver – CDL Preferred

Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is looking for a reliable and safety-minded Delivery Driver to join our Bondurant team. This is primarily a local delivery position with approximately 80% of your time driving and 20% supporting warehouse operations.

What You'll Do
- Deliver and pick up products from customers, branches, and suppliers.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products.
- Follow daily delivery schedules and priorities provided by the warehouse supervisor.
- Use an RF scanner to track orders and deliveries.
- Obtain customer signatures and complete required delivery paperwork.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Communicate delivery delays, safety concerns, or other issues to your supervisor.
- When not making deliveries, assist with general warehouse duties including receiving, shipping, order pulling, stocking, and material handling.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- CDL is preferred but not required.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to safely operate a larger delivery truck, such as a Chevy Silverado or Ford F450 3-ton flatbed.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Previous delivery, driving, warehouse, or material-handling experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently get in and out of the vehicle and load/unload products.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and heavier items as needed.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, and climb as required to safely handle and secure loads.
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Some schedule flexibility and overtime may be required based on customer needs and business demands.
