About the Role
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver cum Boarding Officer to join our Operations team.
This is a hands-on operational role responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of goods to vessels, transportation and collection of cargo, boarding and delivery coordination, and on-ground logistics at the port.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations, Warehouse, Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure that vessel deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.
Working Arrangement
6-day work week
1 rostered rest day per week
Rest day may fall on a weekday depending on operational requirements and roster
Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays
Working hours and daily schedules will be communicated according to operational requirements
The role requires flexibility to support vessel delivery schedules and port operations
Candidates must be able to commit to the stated 6-day working arrangement
Key responsibilities
Report to the Operations Manager daily to check delivery schedules and assigned cases.
Deliver and collect goods and cargo from Penjuru Terminal, MSW, Jurong Port, PSA and other designated locations.
Drive company delivery vehicles in accordance with operational schedules and applicable driving licence requirements.
Verify that goods delivered on board vessels correspond with customer requirements and the applicable checklist/Delivery Order (D/O).
Account for goods transported by truck and boat using the W6 form, ensuring complete traceability to the final vessel destination.
Supervise workers and subcontractors during loading and unloading activities on supply boats and vessels.
Ensure proper handling, security and condition of goods throughout transportation and transfer activities.
Ensure the quality and integrity of goods are maintained during transfers between truck, supply boat and vessel.
Board vessels as required to complete delivery, verification and coordination activities.
Attend to and resolve issues raised by the vessel's Master or Officers and coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Sales and Purchasing teams through approved communication channels, including instant messaging platforms such as WhatsApp.
Verify that required product certificates have been received by the vessel's Master or Officers.
Follow up with the Purchasing team on missing certificates, discrepancies or documentation issues.
Ensure all delivery documentation, checklists and records are properly completed and submitted.
Report delivery discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items or operational issues promptly to the Operations Manager.
Comply with all applicable workplace safety, port, vessel access and company procedures.
Perform other operational and logistics duties reasonably assigned by the Operations Manager.
Requirements
Valid Class 4 Singapore driving Licence.
Previous experience in commercial driving, logistics, marine operations, warehouse operations, delivery services or a related operational environment will be an advantage.
Comfortable working in a port, marine and vessel environment.
Comfortable with loading, unloading, lifting and handling goods as required by the role.
Able to board vessels and work in operational environments.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Responsible, reliable and safety-conscious.
Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Able to use mobile communication tools such as WhatsApp for operational coordination.
Good understanding of delivery documentation and inventory/goods accountability will be an advantage.
Must be able to commit to a 6-day work week with 1 rostered rest day.
Must be flexible to support operational requirements and vessel delivery schedules.

- Singapore Citizens & Permanent Residents
- Dependent Pass (DP) holders with a valid Letter of Consent (LOC)
- Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holders with a valid LOC
All shortlisted candidates will be required to produce valid work authorization documents prior to onboarding.
Work Arrangement
- Full-time position based in the Pioneer West Region
- Operational hours aligned with vessel delivery schedules (flexibility required)
