Driver

Responsibilities

• Delivery of goods & packing of goods
• Load all assigned catering food / meals in the van
• Deliver to all allocated clients and in-house café/restaurant outlets
• Deliver invoices accurately and ensure signed copies where necessary
• Liaise with office staff on any missing or inaccurate items or issues with invoices
• Assist with in-house café/restaurant home deliveries
• Unload and return all empty delivery crates to factory
• Packing of catering food / meals after deliveries are completed
• Maintain good relationships with clients through punctual and accurate deliveries and polite attitude
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and arrange servicing, repairs, and refueling when required.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, maintenance, and trips
• Plan efficient travel routes to avoid delays
• Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary
• Comply with all traffic laws and company policies
• Carry out other duties assigned by management as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a private driver / company driver is preferred
• Clean driving record
• Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
• Punctual, reliable, and well-groomed
• Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to lift moderate / heavy items
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
