Position: Driver (Delivery & Logistics)

Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Days: 6 days per week (rest day on rotation)
Salary: SGD 1,500 – SGD 2,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
Reporting To: Operations Manager
About the Company
(Indian Cooked Food Catering Service Pte. Ltd. (Raja's Catering) is a Singapore-based authentic Indian catering company serving corporate clients, event organisers, and lifestyle venues across the island. We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our operations team and support the timely delivery of catering orders and kitchen supplies.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver catered food, buffet setups, and equipment to client sites across Singapore in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist kitchen and operations staff with loading and unloading of food warmers, chafing dishes, beverages, and other catering equipment.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS/navigation apps to meet scheduled event timings.
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues, damage, or maintenance needs to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle both interior and exterior, and ensure hygiene standards are observed when transporting food.
• Collect supplies, ingredients, and equipment from suppliers, wet markets, or warehouses as instructed.
• Handle delivery documentation such as delivery orders (DOs), invoices, and acknowledgement slips, and return signed copies to the office.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, venue staff, and suppliers.
• Comply with all Singapore road traffic regulations, LTA requirements, and company safety policies.
• Assist with ad-hoc operational duties including on-site event setup and teardown when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 3A driving licence (issued by the Singapore Traffic Police / LTA) is required.
• Class 4 licence will be an added advantage for driving light goods vehicles or larger delivery vans.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in Singapore, preferably in food & beverage, catering, or logistics.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations; must be able to produce driving records upon request.
• Familiar with Singapore roads, expressways, industrial estates, and common event venues (hotels, condominiums, offices, community clubs).
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry catering equipment (up to 20 kg) throughout the day.
• Basic spoken English to communicate with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
• Punctual, honest, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays based on event schedules.
• Singaporeans, PRs, and holders of a valid Work Pass allowing driving duties are welcome to apply.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Prior experience delivering for a catering company, restaurant chain, or food logistics operator.
• Basic food handling knowledge or WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
• Ability to converse in Tamil, Hindi, Malay, or Mandarin in addition to English.
What We Offer
• Monthly salary of SGD 1,500 – SGD 2,000 depending on experience and licence class.
• Overtime pay in accordance with the Employment Act.
