Lorry Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and reliable Lorry Driver to support our daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, equipment, and materials to and from various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company lorry safely and responsibly.
• Deliver and collect goods, materials, and equipment according to assigned schedules.
• Ensure all goods are properly loaded, secured, and transported safely.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Check delivery orders, invoices, and relevant documents before and after deliveries.
• Ensure goods are delivered to the correct location and in good condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, mileage, and vehicle usage.
• Conduct basic daily checks on the lorry, including tyres, lights, oil, brakes, and other essential components.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Report vehicle faults, accidents, delays, or other issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Follow all traffic laws, workplace safety procedures, and company policies.
• Perform other driving or operational duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driving licence or relevant licence required for the assigned vehicle.
• Previous experience as a lorry or commercial vehicle driver is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and locations.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading goods.
• Able to handle delivery paperwork and basic documentation.
• Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.
• Able to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
• Clean and safe driving record preferred.

Working Conditions
