Since 2012, Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop has grown to 23 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Texas, West Virginia, and Minnesota.

The Role

As a Driver, you'll support both our Distribution Center operations and local/regional delivery routes. This position includes:

• Delivering to Grandpa Joe's retail stores and wholesale customers across PA, WV, and OH
• Picking up purchase orders and transporting them to the warehouse from PA, OH, and NJ
• Assisting with warehouse tasks and inventory
• Participating in weekend community events such as parades, fairs, and festivals
• Running a scheduled route with an overnight stay, plus opportunities for additional overnight routes as we continue to grow

This role requires independence, strong self‑management, and comfort working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Inspections - Complete daily pre‑trip and post‑trip checks; follow DOT and company policies.
• Loading & Unloading - Lift up to 50 lbs; deliver orders to stores and wholesale customers.
• Order Fulfillment - Assist with picking, packing, and staging orders.
• Receiving & Inventory - Apply accurate receiving and inventory processes.
• Work independently and maintain a high level of organization.

Requirements

• DOT Medical Card required
• Delivery experience with a 26‑ft straight truck with liftgate preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Availability for 35-40 hours/week
  • Includes a weekend day supporting an event once or twice per quarter through the year
