- Material and Equipment Transport: Load, secure, and deliver construction supplies, tools, and heavy items using lorries or trucks.
- Ferrying Workers: Pick up workers in the morning and drop them off at project sites or dormitories.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-and post-operation safety checks, keep the vehicle clean, and report any mechanical defects.
- Site Compliance: Follow local traffic laws and strict workplace safety rules on public roads and active construction zones.
- Dual Roles (Worker-cum-Driver): Assist with general site tasks, loading/unloading, or basic site supervision depending on company needs.
Key Requirements
- Driving License: Possess a valid Singapore minimum Class 3 (Class 4 preferable).
- Road Familiarity: Know Singapore routes and major industrial or construction areas well. []
- Safety Certifications: Often require a valid Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) or Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS) certificate. [1]
