Part-Time Child Care Driver

KidzStuff Child Care is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and caring Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, has a strong driving record, and is committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for our students.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
Part-Time | 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport children between schools, KidzStuff locations, and approved destinations.
• Follow assigned routes and maintain timely pick-up and drop-off schedules.
• Ensure children are properly secured and follow all transportation safety procedures.
• Conduct required vehicle safety checks before and after routes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with children, families, school staff, and KidzStuff team members.
• Follow all KidzStuff, MSDE/OCC, and applicable transportation requirements.
• Assist with other transportation-related duties as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent
· Prior experience working with children preferred
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Ability to safely operate a passenger van or similar vehicle
· Ability to remain calm, patient, and attentive during transportation
· Must pass background checks, drug screening, and meet state/local licensing requirements

Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
· Ability to assist children in and out of the vehicle
· Ability to conduct vehicle inspections, including bending, lifting, and walking around the vehicle
