The duties and responsibilities of a Driver include:
Key Responsibilities
- Route Planning & Navigation: Use GPS devices and mapping apps to plan the fastest and safest routes while monitoring live traffic or weather updates.
- Safe Operation: Drive company or personal vehicles strictly obeying local traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections (tires, brakes, fluids, lights) and schedule routine maintenance or repairs.
- Cargo & Passenger Care: Safely load, unload, or secure goods, or assist passengers with luggage and entries/exits.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery receipts, and trip schedules.
- Customer Service: Provide polite, punctual, and professional communication when interacting with clients or handling customer inquiries.
