Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods, equipment, and personnel safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transportation:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, equipment, and personnel to various locations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups.
• Ensure that all cargo is properly secured and handled with care.

2. Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil, water, and tire pressure.

3. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, and driving activities.
• Complete and submit all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and vehicle inspection reports.

4. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate delivery and pick-up schedules.

5. Safety:

• Adhere to all traffic laws while driving.
• Follow company safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Class 3 license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving a lorry is a bonus.
• Good time-management.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed.

Work Schedule:

• 5.5 days work week
• Working hours: 8am – 5pm (but could be flexible)
• If overtime is required, you will be remunerated accordingly
