TRANSAM TRUCKING Driver Payroll Administrator
Responsibilities.
Reports to and takes direction from AP/Driver Comp Manager (Jacobson Holdings, Inc.).
Window/Permit Responsibilities
- Performs job duties from Permits window during absences and lunch periods of the Permit Specialist.
- Checks driver permit books for current and proper documentation.
- Notifies proper personnel or handles issues as presented at the window.
- In the absence of the Permits Specialist, prepares daily UPS pick-up.
- Processes outgoing mail on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; Provides back up on other days as needed.
- Assists in receiving and entering daily checks.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Driver Payroll Processing Responsibilities
- Enters vacation pay, loans, store purchases, and miscellaneous deductions.
- Enters minimum wage adjustments.
- Enters orientation pay.
- Verifies vacations, loans, and miscellaneous deductions.
- Runs final payroll for drivers.
Driver Payroll Communication Responsibilities
- Analyzes, resolves and answers problems presented by drivers regarding payroll.
- Logs into the phone queue daily to answer incoming calls from drivers regarding questions or concerns with their payroll.
New Driver Responsibilities
- Pulls new drivers into Payroll.
- Processes new employee pay verifications.
- Ensures that all new drivers are set up correctly.
- Enters Web N Transits for new drivers.
Driver Paperwork Responsibilities

- Scans and indexes documents.
- Process driver reimbursements.
- Scans corrections to documents.
- Calls drivers daily on missing paperwork.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities
- Closing/Paying invoices through the TMT menu.
- Checking the AP inbox via email daily
- Assisting customers in providing payment status upon request
- Other AP duties as requested from AP Driver Comp Manager
