Summary
Drives patients to and from medical appointments, assists with boarding and safety, and maintains vehicle cleanliness and compliance with regulations.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Safely transports persons served to and from medical facilities, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Assists persons served with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including securing wheelchairs or mobility aids.
- Ensures comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Communicates with medical staff regarding needs and conditions of persons served.
- Maintains accurate records of transportation activities, including pick-up/drop-off times and details of persons served.
- Maintains vehicle per agency and state laws and regulations
- Conducts routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintains the cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle.
- Adheres to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
