Driver - Ready-Mix Truck
Mission
Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is looking for a Ready Mix Truck Driver to join our team in Golden, BC.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Ready Mix Truck in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
- Complete assigned driving and delivery routes in a timely and safe manner
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report defects as required
- Maintain accurate driver logs, records, and applicable DOT documentation
- Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials, which may involve strenuous physical labour, including lifting and moving product
- Perform a variety of duties when not delivering concrete, including general yard or plant tasks as assigned
- Operate loaders and skid steers as required (experience considered an asset)
- Follow directions and complete all other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager
- Ability to work extended hours, irregular schedules, and take irregular breaks as operationally required
- Willingness to travel and work out of town occasionally when business needs require
Requirements
- Ability to operate equipment, including loaders and skid steers, as required
- Have at a minimum an active Class 3 licence (preference to Class 1)
- Pass an MVR and a Drug Test
- Experience operating a Ready Mix Truck or Gravel Truck in construction areas is preferred, but not required
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co‑workers or supervisors with other duties as required
Working Conditions
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required
- Willing to work in field and in all weather conditions
- Willing to work overtime (may include weekends) during the busy season (April to October) and on call as necessary.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- This is a safety sensitive position; selected candidate must pass drug and alcohol testing as required.

The anticipated wage range for this position is $32-$35CAD/hour. The final compensation package will be determined based on factors including the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
