Your Role: Driver Recruiter

As a Driver Recruiter, you will coordinate the recruitment and onboarding of experienced Class A CDL drivers. You will also maintain driver qualification records and help ensure ongoing compliance with company, Department of Transportation, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with hiring managers to identify current and upcoming Class A CDL driver staffing needs
• Source and proactively contact qualified driver candidates
• Review applications and conduct initial phone interviews
• Coordinate onsite interviews, road tests, and other steps in the selection process
• Maintain accurate candidate information in the applicant tracking system
• Assist candidates with consent forms, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding documents
• Maintain complete and accurate Driver Qualification (DQ) files, to include MVRs, DL's, and Medial certificates
• Communicate with driver management regarding upcoming expirations and required renewals
• Ensure required driver documents are received, updated, and properly filed
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified drivers
• Assist with internal and external audits by gathering documentation, reviewing records, and addressing follow-up requests
• Support other recruiting, compliance, and Human Resources functions as needed

What You Need to Succeed

✔ High school diploma or GED

✔ One to three years of recruiting, transportation compliance, or related experience

✔ Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

✔ Ability to manage multiple candidates, deadlines, and compliance requirements

✔ Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively engaging candidates

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using an applicant tracking system

✔ Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record

✔ Experience with Class A CDL recruiting, DQ files, MVRs, and DOT/FMCSA requirements

✔ Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems required, Tenstreet is a plus
