Driver Safety Trainer
Assist Ambulance is seeking an experienced Driver Safety Trainer to join our team!
Job Duties:
- Conducting driver evaluations as needed
- Conducting training class with candidates for employment, new hires and annually, and complete all associated documentation
- Reviewing ambulette driving for infractions and accidents
- Conducting coaching and counseling sessions with drivers and crewmembers on infractions and accidents, and completing all necessary paperwork
- Duties are subject to change and are not limited to the ones mentioned on this list
Requirements:
- Must be available Mon-Fri 9a-5p
- Must have a valid driver's license from New York, D-class or above, with an acceptable driving abstract/record
- Must have experience training drivers, commercial preferred, but not required
- Must have experience professionally coaching and counseling drivers on driving/passenger infractions and accidents
- Must have comfortability using digital data systems for human resource management and automatic vehicle tracking, such as Lytx, Samsara or Motiv
- Must have comfortability writing reports and corresponding via email
- Ideal candidate has a valid EMT certificate in New York State
