Operate a lorry crane safely for tree-pruning, tree-removal and landscape works.

Position and stabilise the lorry crane using outriggers according to ground and site conditions.

Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the lorry, crane, lifting accessories and safety devices.

Assist with lifting and lowering tree branches, logs, equipment and other materials.

Follow the approved lifting plan, risk assessment, safe work procedures and manufacturer’s load chart.

Coordinate closely with the lifting supervisor, arborist, tree climber, rigger and signalman.

Respond only to authorised signals and immediately stop operations when unsafe conditions arise.

Ensure loads are properly secured and never exceed the crane’s safe working load.

Work safely near roads, buildings, pedestrians, overhead lines and underground services.

Comply with traffic-control and Traffic Management Plan requirements during roadside operations.

Transport workers’ equipment, machinery and pruning debris when instructed.

Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the lorry crane.

Record daily inspections, defects, servicing and lifting activities.

Report equipment defects, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions immediately.

Follow all company, client, MOM, WSH, LTA and NParks safety requirements.

Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Project Manager or Site Supervisor.
