In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for collecting, packaging, and delivering sensitive customer materials while ensuring full compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures.
You will represent the company at customer sites, maintain our fleet to the highest standards, and play a vital role in supporting the safe movement of important scientific and healthcare shipments.

You will represent the company at customer sites, maintain our fleet to the highest standards, and play a vital role in supporting the safe movement of important scientific and healthcare shipments.
Role Responsibilities Overview:
- Complete local collections and deliveries safely, professionally, and on time.
- Follow all driving regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Prepare and package customer shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Handle temperature-controlled, dry ice, infectious substance, and dangerous goods packaging where required.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and IATA regulations relating to transportation, labelling, and packaging.
- Deliver a first-class customer experience and act as a professional ambassador for the business.
- Build positive relationships with customers and communicate feedback to the wider team.
- Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Ensure company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, secure, and fuelled.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.

Work Structure:
- Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30
- Fully onsite at our San Francisco office

What you'll bring:
- Experience within transport, courier, logistics, or freight forwarding environments
- Valid US driver's licence held for at least two years.
- Fewer than two moving violations within the last 24 months.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
