DRIVER
Job Summary
A Van Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods by operating commercial vehicles, performing vehicle maintenance checks, and maintaining accurate delivery records.
Responsibilities
- Operate Vans/Car over various distances to deliver goods on schedule while complying with traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan and follow efficient routes for deliveries and collections
- Assist with or supervise the loading, securing, and unloading of items to prevent damage during transit
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluids and vehicle condition to ensure safety
- Maintain accurate travel logs, fuel consumption records, and delivery paperwork such as invoices and bills
- Adhere strictly to road safety regulations, weight restrictions, and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Class 3, 4, or 5 in Singapore)
- Maintain a clean driving record demonstrating adherence to safety regulations
- Ability to handle long hours of driving and physical labor for loading/unloading of logistic items
- Use navigation tools effectively to support route planning and delivery accuracy
- Minimum of 3 years professional driving experiences.
- Willingness to work on flexible hours including evenings and public holidays.
