Driver Support Representative

Now Hiring: 3rd Shift Driver Support

We are looking for a dependable and motivated 3rd Shift Driver Support Specialist to join our transportation team. This position plays an important role in supporting our drivers and ensuring overnight operations run smoothly. Sunday through Thursday. Off Friday and Saturday. Shift begins at 11:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support to drivers and assist with operational questions or issues.
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, dispatch instructions, and changes.
• Monitor driver activity and assist with resolving issues that arise during the shift.
• Communicate with dispatch, management, safety, and other departments as needed.
• Document driver calls, issues, delays, and other important information.
• Assist drivers with breakdowns, route concerns, customer issues, and other time-sensitive situations.
• Follow company policies and procedures when addressing driver concerns.
• Escalate urgent safety, operational, or personnel issues to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure important information is communicated to the day shift.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to drivers and internal team members.

• Transportation, logistics, dispatch, customer support, or driver support experience would be preferred

Requirements

• 1-2 years of dispatching experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Previous tractor trailer operations experience preferred.
