Overview Accountable for Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), with responsibility for managing the DRP planners. This role is the main interface between the market and Distribution Requirements Planning activities. It leads collaboration internally with Supply Planning and externally with Customer Support and the RemainCo team to ensure market plans are adopted, service level and working capital targets are achieved, and planning activities are effectively executed. The role is also responsible for leading the coordination between different Supply Chain functions during times of issues. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Accountable for establishing the Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) organization, from knowledge capture through to stabilization. Accountable for product availability across all shipping distribution centres (DCs) for 2–3 business units. Distribution Requirements Planning Accountable for generating daily and weekly replenishment plans to fulfil customer orders while maintaining appropriate safety stock levels. Accountable for identifying market demand and defining distribution planning parameters. Accountable for anticipating issues arising from supply chain volatility or inefficiencies and building inventory accordingly. Accountable for managing product overselling and developing mitigation plans with Supply Planning to support business requirements. Responsible for balancing inventory across distribution centres to avoid stockouts and obsolete inventory. Serves as the single point of contact for W0 and W1 supply control meetings, communicating issues and mitigation plans, and tracking POOS and projected VF%. Responsible for VF% root cause analysis (RCA) and truck utilization performance. Responsible for adopting current systems and leading the Run to Standard agenda and compliance targets for the Distribution Requirements Planning function. Inventory Control Plan and manage inventory control parameters. Determine inventory allocation and resource requirements. Distribution Plan Review and Forecast Evaluate planning results and make necessary adjustments. Analyse demand forecast changes and take timely action to meet demand and prevent stockouts. Integration with the Market Coordinate with the Demand Fulfilment Leader and Response Coordinators across the cluster to manage planning exceptions. Coordinate with the RemainCo organization to allocate New Product Introduction (NPI) quantities across distribution centres. Coordinate with Primary and Secondary Logistics teams to support distribution activities. Cross-Functional Integration Coordinate with Supply Planning to ensure product availability and proactively manage anticipated supply issues. Coordinate with Customer Support to respond to customer orders and maximize product availability. Coordinate with the Transportation team to secure the trucks required for shuttling activities. Coordinate with the Make and Move team to resolve stock discrepancies. Line Management Responsible for the management and development of Distribution Requirements Planners supporting all countries within the cluster (9–10 planners). Run to Standard Responsible for adopting current systems and leading the Run to Standard agenda and compliance targets for the Distribution Requirements Planning function. Qualifications Engineering Educational Background Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development Line Management experience of 6 – 8 years Experience in distribution planning or similar Supply Planning tasks Proficiency in product category planning Proficiency in Excel and experience in any ERP system
