DRR Case Manager
Main Job Function and Purpose: Assists students towards self-sufficiency through accountability, mentoring, instruction, and coordination of services.
This is a full-time positon.
Essential Job Duties with optional subcategories (Please add time spent in percentage for each job duty):
- With Oversight of the DRR Manager, ensure that parents register school aged schildren in area designated schools.
- In addition to the DRR Manager, be listed as an emergency school contact for DRR parents.
- Maintain up-to-date trainings and information on all DRR Safety protocols to ensure that students adhere to all safety rules and follow all DRR safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date training and information on animal safety and protocols to ensure that students are trained properly and adhere to all animal safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist the DRR Manager in the development, review, and update of the women and children’s program at DRR.
- Create, implement and execute Individualized Treatment Plans in collaboration with students.
- Meet weekly with each assigned student to assess progress of ITP and ensure program compliance.
- Ensure documentation such as case notes, written warnings and goal tracking reports are clear and timely.
- Participate fully in implementing program changes and directives from management.
- Provide both practical and biblical assignments that will lead towards growth in struggling areas.
11. Teach new life skills and coping skills, so that students can replace bad behavior with good behavior.
12. Assign appropriate wrap around services such as groups, classes, therapy, law clinic, health clinic, etc.
13. Provide appropriate disciplinary actions up to and including dismissal from program as needed.
14. Conduct med-calls, groups, random drug testing, room checks and morning devotions as needed.
15. Collaborates with outside agency partners such as probation officers, social workers, clinic staff, etc. to support students ITP.
16. Assisting with transporting the DRR children to and from school.
17. Must be flexible and a team player.
