Drupal Developer
Summary
Builds and maintains Drupal 9/10 websites: creating reusable components (Paragraphs, Layout Builder, Views, content types), theming with Twig/HTML/CSS/JS, authoring structured content, and handling Git deployments, QA, accessibility and SEO in Agile teams. Based in Bengaluru, remote-friendly, ~5-7 years' Drupal experience.
Drupal expertise
57 years of relevant experience, including strong hands-on work with Drupal 9 and/or Drupal 10.
Component development
Experience building reusable components using Paragraphs, Layout Builder, content types, Views and custom theming.
Theming & front end
Strong HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS, JavaScript and Twig template skills; solid grasp of responsive design.
Content authoring
Hands-on experience creating, formatting, publishing and maintaining structured website content in Drupal.
Engineering practices
Experience with Git, environments, deployment workflows, debugging and code review.
Quality & governance
Working knowledge of website QA, accessibility, SEO, performance and content approval workflows.
Ways of working
Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, attention to detail and ability to work independently in Agile teams.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience with Acquia Cloud or a comparable Drupal hosting platform.
- Exposure to Drush, Composer and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with analytics and tag-management platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
- Familiarity with multilingual or multi-site Drupal implementations.
- Exposure to other enterprise CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager or WordPress.
- Experience working on regulated, healthcare or life-sciences websites is advantageous.
