Drupal Developer
Summary
The Drupal Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable websites and applications using Drupal 9/10. The role involves custom module and theme development, API integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade digital solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Drupal-based websites and applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with modern Drupal (Drupal 9/10), custom module development, and integration with backend systems and APIs.
This role involves working closely with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade, content-driven digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Drupal websites and applications
Build custom Drupal modules, themes, and components
Implement and customize Drupal core and contributed modules
Develop and maintain content types, taxonomies, views, and blocks
Integrate Drupal with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
Ensure performance, security, accessibility, and scalability best practices
Perform upgrades and migrations (Drupal 7/8 to Drupal 9/10)
Collaborate with frontend teams on UI/UX implementation
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
Participate in code reviews and follow development standards
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience with Drupal development
Strong experience with Drupal 9 and/or Drupal 10
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with custom module and theme development
Solid understanding of Drupal architecture and best practices
Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases
Experience with Git-based version control
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Drupal migrations and multilingual sites
Knowledge of Symfony components used in Drupal
Experience with headless Drupal or decoupled architectures
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Exposure to enterprise CMS environments
