The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and pulling products from warehouse racks according to customer orders. This role requires operating a pallet jack, organizing and stacking cases efficiently onto pallets, and transporting completed orders to the dock for loading. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that operates in a production-based pay structure, rewarding efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate an electric pallet jack to navigate the warehouse and retrieve products.
- Select products from racks according to order specifications and ensure order accuracy.
- Stack cases securely and efficiently on pallets to prevent damage during transport.
- Deliver completed orders to the designated dock area for truck loading.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency to meet production-based pay requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
