JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing the efficient day-to-day operations of two clinics. The Clinic Manager leads the implementation and communication of new initiatives and programs to staff and physicians. Additionally, they collaborate with physicians, patients, clients, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care.

JOB DIMENSIONS:
Staff: Medical and Non-Medical staff
Financial: Responsible for the finances of the clinic, specifically clinic labor, clinic supplies both medical and office, and EBITDA.
Other: Responsible for training, coaching and direct supervision of medical and non-
medical clinic support staff.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinic Management and Oversight
  • Achieving the performance goals including, but not limited to patient retention, patient satisfaction, patient count, controllable expenses, and operational targets.
  • Responsible for patient, physician and staff engagement.
  • Ensures that company policies, processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensures optimal levels of medical and office supplies
  • Ensures clinic equipment is well maintained
  • Ensures that funds generated by the clinic are accurately accounted for on a daily basis
  • Ensures standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained
  • Responsible for handling patient concerns in an effective manner in accordance with our customer service standards
  • Communicates and executes on strategic initiatives affecting clinic operations including the ongoing development of a customer service culture, communication, core purpose and core values with staff and physicians.
  • Liaises with the Regional Operations Manager and other Clinic support team members regarding clinic profiles and changes
  • Ensures all operational reporting and metrics are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensures the EMR is protected and safeguarded according to organizational policy
  • Manages clinic staffing levels for adherence to the staffing model
  • Responsible for all aspects of performance management, performance reviews and progressive discipline
  • Responsible for hiring both medical & non-medical staff as required
  • Communicates Health & Safety initiatives in the clinic to ensure compliance with company policies
  • EMR trainer for new physicians
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Business Development
  • Supports and executes on business development programs and initiatives
  • Supports the growth of the clinic
  • Participates in and supports community involvement and perception of the Medicentres brand
Organizational Leadership
  • Exemplifies the organizations core values and ensure staff are aware of organization’s core purpose and core values and are performing to these standards on an ongoing basis
  • Leads by example and demonstrates a ‘hands on’ approach in identifying and responding to issues in a timely manner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 5-7 years clinic experience
  • 3 years management experience, preferably in a health care clinic
  • Customer service focus with strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with the Health Information Act guidelines
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. Fast paced environment, where ability to manage day to day operations of the clinic are essential. Must be able to adjust their schedule accordingly to work evenings and weekends to ensure exceptional customer service culture is observed on all shifts. Travel between sites.
