Duty Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Duty Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences in our dynamic hospitality environment.
- Lead and inspire the front office team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused atmosphere
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency across all departments
- Manage guest relations, addressing concerns and enhancing overall satisfaction
- Coordinate with various departments to maintain seamless communication and operations
- Monitor and optimize room rates, occupancy levels, and overbooking strategies to maximize revenue
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to improve performance and motivation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards
- Handle emergency situations and make critical decisions when necessary
- Prepare and analyze reports on key performance indicators
- Continuously seek ways to improve guest experiences and operational efficiency
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in front desk operating systems (e.g., Opera) and understanding of GDS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, assertive decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Financial acumen for managing rates and overbooking strategies
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
